  • April 27 Shares of Newpark Resources (NR -11%) sink after Q1 earnings and revenues come in below analyst estimates. Results were impacted by the deterioration in completion services and equipment rental business and reduced activity in certain dry gas regions in the U.S. NR says it is taking actions to address margin-related issues and remains focused on improving profitability.
